21.3 Alejandro Gonzales
Spring 1998, Gonzales residence
Alejandro's face did change. She never had been angry at him.
Alejandro didn't know the last time he was so disappointed. After their last encounter, Nancy had decided she didn't need any entertainment anymore.
Even though he had been doubtful at first, he had found her to be quite interesting and enjoyed spending time with her.
He opened the door, still deep in his thoughts.
"Alejandro? Sit down, I want to talk to you."
Rita was sitting on the table in the dining room, visibly angry.
"Hey, you're up Rita? You seem troubled. Did the kids worry you again?"
Alejandro definitely wasn't in the mood for Rita's complaints, but he had to show some goodwill at least.
Her face did not change. "No. This time it is you", she said.
She snorted.
"I saw you with that ...woman!" she spat at him.
"Wait - what?"
Oh damn. Apparently he had been too careless.
"Don't even dare to deny it! Look, I understand a one-time fling with one of your young and pretty fangirls here and there, but meeting a woman - constantly - that is older than me, I will not tolerate!"
Alejandro was just about to find another excuse, but Rita wasn't finished.
"Not after all I've done for you!", she yelled. "I want you to pack your stuff and leave my house in one hour!"
He slammed his hands on the table while standing up.
"Fine", he said.
Maybe it was time to end this charade, too.
Hehehe, you know what? I'd be more concerned about those younger girls than the cougar Nancy Landgraab. :D Not that it mattered at all, he's a cheater. The age of his ladies makes no difference.
ReplyDeleteThing is, Rita knows she cannot compete with the young and pretty anymore. But now he rubs it in her face that it's not about that, so of course she is pissed xD

DeleteI thought the same thing the younger girls would be more of a threat than Nancy Landgraab but maybe Nancy wouldn't be considered a play thing as the youngers ones are. Ironically she really isn't punishing him she is giving him his freedom.

Yes, Nancy is comparable in a way to Rita, and seeing her more than once, like the younger ones makes her a threat.
DeleteRosa and Alejandro know each other already xD at least briefly. And she'll definitely not go again for a rockstar.
I'm joking with Rosa and Alejandro. While they might deserve each other I think that pairing might actually hurt the story. Trouble makers need to be making trouble for others not each other. If they did make trouble for each other, who would care?

You know what just ocurred to me? That it would be fun if Rita broke up with him because she saw him with a random woman he actually wasn't banging. The irony. :D

DeleteOH wow Rita kicked him out! I'm glad she finally came to her senses. No woman should need to endure this. She's finding her self-respect once again. To think she tolerated his flings the whole time. YEAH take back your life girl. Alejandro can sleep on the streets. I wish sigh.

Oh boy, you weren't kidding that the ending of season one is pretty dramatic, it's fireworks all over, every chapter. It's pretty satisfying to see Al finally face some consequences. Though I kind of hope Nancy and him may rekindle their weird affair, I sort of like them together.
